In 2019, when Shanghai Super Power Sports Facilities Co., Ltd. was founded, its founder, Cheng Hesong, looked at a blank design blueprint and asked a simple yet fundamental question:
“What kind of sports venue are we building?”
With this question in mind, Super Power has continuously sought answers through project after project—from beachfront resort courts in Phuket, to family parks in Jakarta, to training bases for Indonesia’s national team. As these venues were built, put into use, and experienced by people, the answers gradually took shape. Yet across all projects, three principles remained constant: safety, practicality, and uniqueness.
“Safety is the foundation of any sports facility. Protecting users during activity is our top priority—without it, nothing else matters,” said Cheng Hesong.
At a national-level training base in Indonesia, four padel courts built by Super Power endure over 10 hours of high-intensity use daily.
“The challenge was not only to meet international first-class padel court standards, but also to ensure long-term stability under Indonesia’s hot and humid climate,” Cheng explained.
To address both environmental and performance demands, Super Power developed a quantifiable safety system:
Triple Professional Treatment: The core structure uses high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel, with all materials undergoing UV resistance, salt spray resistance, and anti-mildew treatment.
“This isn’t an industry default—it’s based on experience from over 200 projects across different countries and regions,” Cheng noted.
Precision Testing: The net tension is tested with professional-grade instruments to ensure uniform force distribution, preventing deviations in ball trajectory.
“Even minor inconsistencies can affect match outcomes,” Cheng added.
The turf is calibrated for flatness and tested for elasticity, with all data documented and traceable.
“Safety isn’t a checkbox in a report—it’s about making every inch of the venue reliable,” Cheng emphasized.
“All core components use standardized interfaces, ensuring both manufacturing precision and easy maintenance with fully compatible parts, ultimately reducing lifecycle costs.”
In Phuket—1,400 kilometers away from Indonesia—Super Power’s safety standards faced even harsher conditions. A beachfront resort court had to endure high salinity, humidity, and intense sunlight.
Instead of settling for “good enough,” the team implemented dual-layer protection:a hot-dip galvanized steel base combined with a fluorocarbon anti-UV electrostatic coating.
“This technique is typically used in marine engineering—we brought it into sports facility construction,” Cheng said.
This commitment earned strong client recognition:
“Super Power’s tournament-grade courts successfully hosted a regional business elite competition in Phuket. Athletes praised the consistent ball bounce and excellent anti-slip performance.”
A truly practical venue must adapt to different regions, climates, and usage scenarios—much like water adapts to any container.

At a beachfront resort in Phuket, the venue must constantly adapt to climate challenges—especially during the rainy season.
Super Power implemented a flexible, efficient solution:
A high-performance drainage system beneath the turf enables the padel court to be ready for use within 10 minutes after rainfall.
For average daily temperatures of 35°C, an intelligent mist cooling system was developed. Sensors monitor surface temperature in real time and activate atomized cooling when needed, while precisely controlling moisture levels to avoid over-saturation.
“The cooling system performs exceptionally well in hot weather, and the padel courts have never suffered from water accumulation during rainy seasons,” reported the site manager.
This demonstrates how a well-adapted solution can directly enhance operational value.
In a Jakarta family park, the challenge was different: understanding a diverse user group.
The venue needed to ensure safety for children while maintaining the park’s aesthetic appeal. After multiple iterations and testing, Super Power reduced the structure height by 30% to suit children aged 3–12.
“This wasn’t simple scaling—it was based on detailed research into children’s behavior and safety in sports environments,” Cheng explained.

At the Phuket beachfront resort, the goal was to integrate the venue with its surroundings.
Super Power used ultra-clear tempered glass for the end walls, creating a seamless visual connection between the padel court and the ocean. Visitors can enjoy unobstructed views of the sea, making the venue not just a sports facility, but a must-visit highlight of the resort.
“The sports venue has enhanced our competitiveness and significantly increased guest return rates. It’s one of the most successful upgrades we’ve made,” said the hotel manager.
In Jakarta, the theme was “family interaction.”
